Accessing Smart codes

Smart codes are preset features accessable from your phone

Your phone or its dialplanner may intercept dialing the * prefix for its own use. You can create a speeddial to translate another number I.e. A speeddial 14 => *% will allow you to dial 14 instead of the * prefix

You may want to use a different dialplan to access the Smart codes. You can create a speeddial to translate your dialplan into the standard smartcode prefixes

Codes

Specific number or prefix

This is the number or prefix to create a speed-dial or translation for

123 will match 123, 1234 or 123456, but will not match 12 or 5123

For an exact match, add $ to the end of the number

123$ will only match 123

New Destination

Specifies the new number

Use % to insert the remaining digits from a prefixed number match

If the speed dial number is 1, then a destination number of 2% will translate 123 into 223

Impersonate User

A speed dial can act on behalf of another user.

For example, a speed dial from *600 to *72 with impersonate Bob, would allow Alice to dial *600 to activate Bob's call forward all

Bypass call block

Optionally ignores any destination blocking rule for matching calls

Divert Destination

You can divert to another phone number by entering the number

Divert on Ringing is a call forward no answer. If hunt members are defined, the hunt members will be used before the divert on ringing.

Menu Levels

The menu level allows you to build a multiple tiered menu system. Level 1 is required, as this defines the root of the menu.

Input Map

Map inputs to actions <input>=<action>[,<input>=<action>...]
